I use this product between my iMac and my work laptop (lenovo)
2. What I love best of the product is the simplicity of pressing one button to switch between monitors
3. The plastic, I would have not had an issue paying more for an aluminum shell. Also the iMac doesn't go to sleep when the Kanex is plugged in, the monitor does, but you still hear the iMac running. Problem goes away once the Kanex is unplugged.
4. Keep up the great work!

I use this product to connect two MacBook Pros to an Apple Cinema Display with a Macally keyboard and Logitech wireless mouse (Marathon Mouse).
Good news: it allows me to switch between the two computers with a push of a button.
Bad news: every so often (typically several times per hour), the screen will blank and then come back. Sometimes it comes back as though I had unplugged the monitor (so the windows all resize to the laptop screen size). Sometimes when I push the button, instead of showing one of the Macs on the Cinema Display, neither of them are showing.
So, when it works, it works great, but the intermittent glitches make it quite annoying.pro abortion arguments areta.se national abortion federation

1. I use it multiple times a day to switch between 2 machines.
2. It does what I need.
3. The first one I bought was faulty in one Mini-Display adaptor and this second one is also a little "temperamental" in that sometimes unplugging and plugging back in seems to make a difference. My original Apple Display Mini-Display Port plug does not have this problem so I can only assume it is your plugs. I would have happily paid a higher price for a better quality product. This applies to a more solid housing and button to (especially) high quality adaptors and cables...
4. If you are playing in the Apple market do not be afraid to produce highest quality items and making them expensive, anyone who owns a Apple machine is used to this..cialis discount coupons online asser.nl cialis free coupon

1. I use this as a switch between my Crossfire 5770 XFX Radeon HD PC and my 2012 MacBook Air 13"
2. I like this design and simplicity.
3. The cables are sensitive to being bent. I had to RMA the first one I bought.
4. I didn't like having to pay more to buy from Kanex only to have to pay return shipping for a faulty product. Thankfully your customer care is close by to my living situation.free printable viagra coupons click drug prescription card bystolic coupons bystolic coupon 2014

Used product to gradually migrate to a new computer.
Loved being able to instantly switch back and forth.
Didn't like the fact that sometimes it switched on it's own.
Great product. Life saver!

It's a good solution, one of the better A/B-type switches I've user in general. The switch itself does sometimes get stuck if you don't push it on the center, which can cause repeated switching until it gets pushed again & un-stuck. But, this allows two laptops to share one monitor.
A downside is that the laptops themselves re-shuffle the items on desktops when they lose their connection to the monitor; it would be better if they could somehow be fooled into thinking the monitor was still there when the switch was pressed, so that when you switched back, everything was still in the same place..

I had a need to reactivate an older Mac mini (to run an older paint application, which I missed very much), while I am primarily running on a more current model. I have only one Cinema Display, and it became a burden to down everything and change all the connections. Then I discovered Kanex SnapX. It is a marvelous product and has worked perfectly for me. It's a great addition and makes my work so much easier.
