Plug & Play

No driver installation is required. Other USB 3.0 devices can also quickly connect to the Kanex USB 3.0 3-port Hub and because it's backward compatible, other USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices will also connect.

High-Speed

Using USB 3.0 gives users SuperSpeed transfer speeds of up to 5 gigabits per second so transferring files and media from devices to our computer is fast and simple. Need More Power?

If you plan on using power-hungry devices like an external hard drive, just plug in the Kanex Universal Power Adapter to give your Kanex USB 3.0 3-Port Hub some extra juice. Provides up to 900mAh for each port.

I use the gigabit Ethernet adapte most of the time and it is awesome. I like that it is well built and good quality. I thought it could break easily but I was mistaken. I don't like that it hangs all the time. Awesome product!

1. I use the USB 3.0 3 port Hub plus GigabyteEthernet interface with my 13" Macbook Pro. I have USB 3.0 BluRay disk player, that needs 2 USB connections. On my laptop the two USB ports are on opposite sides, the supplied cable is not long enough, The hub is ideal for that purpose. I now use it for all USB and internet connections. 2. It is plain & simple, but best of all it worked straight out of the box. 3. No adverse comments. 4. Great product, compact & unassuming - it suits my needs perfectly.

I am currently using DualRole on a 2012 13" Macbook Pro w/ Retina Display. I used to have issues with the keyboard and mouse locking up when I used a USB hub designed for use with Windows, apparently this is a known problem with OSX 10.8, and this resolved that issue. I think it would be nice to have a longer cable, or one that retracts into the housing. If they threw in a power adapter for it, that would be well appreciated too. That said, it works exactly as described, with no issues to far. The ethernet adapter also works well, with good throughput, even when other devices are connected to the hub.

I am using it on a new Surface Pro, Black color would be nice. Cat5 & USB are nice but seem not to work at the same time? Only tried this once.

Bought for my 15' retina MacBook Pro. Gigabit Internet worked, though I had to change the Ethernet cable. More importantly, the USB 3.0 hub worked well. I have a WD portable hard disk and a Seagate desktop hard disk connected, both at USB 3.0. No problems with the hard disk not being accessible when waking up from sleep. Overall, product works as advertised. Shipping was fast too.

1. I use it to connect an Ethernet cable to my Microsoft Surface Pro. 2. It does what I need it to. 3. I would prefer the usb cable to be a bit longer. 4. Great product, wish it was available to buy directly in stores.

Used with an Apple macbook air I like that it is USB 3.0 and dual purpose Would have preferred not to have loaded drivers. Sometimes it is intermittent when running (3) USB 3.0 and the CAT5 internet connection. Granted - I am not using an optional power supply. Would have been convenient to get it with a power supply
